Obituary for Willie Rider

Willie Edward Rider, age 74 of El Paso, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, July
25th at his home. Born on April 14, 1948 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, he was the
son of the late Clarence and Bertha Rider.
Edward enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with his grandchildren
and great-grandchildren, and raising his farm animals. Donkeys, goats and
llamas were a few of his favorites.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Marvin Rider and Gerald
Rider, and sister Dorothy Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years Elsie Winningham Rider, two sons Shane
Rider (Tonya) of Pangburn and Darren Roberson (Angie) of Pleasant Plains,
three daughters Teresa Cashion of Butler, Missouri, Toni Coffman and her
husband Don of El Paso and Jaime Williams of Beebe. Thirteen grandchildren Wyatt Rider, Jonathan Cypert, Arin Seymore, Arissa Mathews, Avery Allen, Emitt
Cashion, Mason Cashion, Jack Cashion, Brittany Reed, Ty Williams, Emily Moffit,
Dakota Roberson, and Tisha Robertson, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters
Linda Schneider, Brenda Rider both of Heber Springs, and Marie Baker of Mount
Vernon, one brother Don Rider of Pangburn, and many nieces, nephews, cousins,
and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Jenna with Arkansas Hospice
for her dedicated care to Edward.
Edward will be missed by all.
A visitation will be on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in Family Funeral Service and
funeral services will be on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Pleasant Ridge Union Church with burial in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
