Obituary for Ruth Stone (Everett)

Ruth Stone the daughter of Carl Everett and Myrtie Thomas Everett was born in Prim, Arkansas on August 9, 1935 and passed away at Indian Rock Village Nursing in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas on May 4, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
She was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, Arkansas. She liked gardening, quilting and spending time with her grandchilldren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Myrtie Everett, her husband Dewey Stone, four brothers Denzil Everett, Stanley Everett, Bob Everett and John D. Everett and a sister Erma Dean Bittle. Survivors are her five daughters Donna Matthews and husband Benny, Shirley Matthews and husband John, Debbie Hutto and husband Greg, Rhonda Stone Laster and Pam Gray and husband Todd. She is also survived by grandchildren: Brad Matthews, Josh Murphree and wife Autumn, Jonathan Matthews, Jason Matthews, Summer England and husband Derek, and Austin Gray and wife Faith, great grandchildren: Eden, Emma, Eli, Elise and Eason Murphree, Lexi and Brody England, Raylan Matthews and Baby Gray, bonus daughter Stacy Freeland and J. R., Colby, Joe and Charla Freeland, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Lone Star Baptist Church in Greers Ferry with services at the church at 11:00 AM by Rev. Josh Murphree and Rev. Homer Branscum with burial in Sunny Slope Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ivan Bittle, Tom Everett, Greg Gilmore, Randy Verser, Ernie Hunt and Eddy Whitehurst, Honorary Pallbearers will be Brad Matthews, Josh Murphree, Jonathan Matthews, Jason Matthews, Derek England, Austin Gray, John Matthews, Benny Matthews, Greg Hutto and Todd Gray.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lone Star Baptist Chruch for Bibles for children and youth
