Obituary for Ronnie Barger

Ronnie Dewane Barger, 70, of Prim, Arkansas left his earthly home on March 5, 2022 surrounded by his loving children. He was born to Chester and Letha Smith Barger on October 21, 1951 in Gideon, Missouri. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Maria Christene. He is survived by his son Heith Barger and wife Kerri of Prim, Arkansas, daughter Natalie Needham and husband Brad of Prim, Arkansas, daughter Natasha Barger of Drasco, Arkansas, a sister Sue Brimhall and husband Larry of Phoenix, Arizona, 5 grandchildren Cody Barger and wife Shelby, Noelle West, Josie West, Cate Hipp, and Clare Hipp, 4 great grandchildren Ellie, Bentley ‘Woodrow’, and Adley ‘Baby’ Barger and Stiles ‘Bozo’ West. He is also survived by a special niece, Chris Hartle and many other relatives and friends that are like family.

Ronnie’s work ethic was second to none. He began working at Arkansas Electric when he was 18 years old, where his career spanned many decades. His dedication to the company and crews was evident. After retiring with 44 years of service, he devoted his time to his children and grandchildren. He had a passion for antique cars and sharing stories of the good ole days with lifelong friends. Ronnie’s doors were always open and everyone knew they could always count on Ronnie for a good laugh. Anyone who ever visited R.B.’s Pawn Shop knew he loved his Westerns and NCIS. He will be missed dearly by so many.
