Obituary for Robert Taylor

Robert Allen Taylor “ROD” , 64 years old, of Rose Bud, AR passed from this world to eternal life Tuesday, August 3rd, 2021 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born April 12th, 1957 in Pittsburg Landing, TN to the late Loyd and Katherine (Martin) Taylor.
Robert was a Veteran of the United States Army, a dedicated employee of DMP/MEC in Heber Springs for over 15 years, a wonderful & loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed deer hunting, growing his garden each summer, and spending time with his family. He especially loved bragging about his grandchildren every chance he got and telling them how much he loved them.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter-Christy Owen, one brother- Sonny Taylor, and one sister - Mary “Sissy” Taylor.
Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Syble Taylor, one son- Dewayne (Crystal) Bonham, two daughters- Kimberley (Bo) Mfuko and Lesa May, and a bonus daughter- Michelle (Branden) Thomas. One brother- Marty(Mary) Taylor, one sister- Brenda Mason, one grandson- Jessie Owen, three granddaughters- Claudia (Caleb) Fulmer, Lillian “Bug” King, and Zenani Mfuko. His bonus grandchildren who called him “Paw Rod”- Aubry, Jake, Rylee, TJ (Kalee), Hunter (Kiah), Rusty, Jay, and Lwando along with all of the grandkids friends that came over.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Family Funeral Services on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 from 6 pm- 8pm.
A graveside funeral will be held for the family at 2 pm on Sunday, August 8th, 2021 at South Crossroads Cemetery

Due to the high risk health conditions of many family members, a private funeral service has been requested and all who do attend are asked to please take Covid precautions.
