Obituary for Penny Baker (Sweet)
Penny Mae Baker, age 55, of Rushville, Indiana, passed away March 4th, 2023.
She was born September 26, 1967, to the late James R. and Betty Sweet.
Penny lived in Heber Springs for 30 years. She worked as a CNA for many years and then worked as a waitress at the Smoke House and Peggy Sues. There wasn’t an obstacle she couldn’t overcome and her positive attitude was infectious. She was a social butterfly who was loved by all, and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband James W Baker of 34 years, her children; Kaela M. Baker, Keggan W. Baker and his wife Phoebe Baker, and Kierra J Baker, her grandchildren; Paezlee M. Baker, Ryvre L. Baker, Wren M Baker, and her siblings; Cheryl Hubbell, Delaina Hawkins, Janet Cain, Verette LaGassa, Greg Meuiner, James Sweet, John Sweet, Rodney Sweet, and Douglas Scott Sweet.
Penny is proceeded in death by her sister Brenda Sweet.
Romans 8:38-39 "For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."
