Obituary for Nina Williams - Gallaway (Williams)

Nina Fay Williams Gallaway Taylor, the daughter of James Elmer Williams and Estella O. “Stella” Siddens was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on October 1, 1939, and passed away at Stonebridge Assisted Living in Heber Springs, Arkansas on December 21, 2022, at the age of 83 years.
Nina was a retired licensed insurance representative, serving the community for over 30 years.
She began her insurance career in 1976 with the Crabtree, Ramsey, Davis Insurance Agency of Heber Springs, later changing the name to Crabtree Langster Insurance Agency. She was a member of the Mt. Devonshire Church in Heber Springs and was very active within the church family. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, working in her flower beds, and collecting teapots, hummingbirds and red birds. Family gatherings were of special importance to her, with her motto being “the more, the merrier”
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband J. B. Gallaway, three brothers Tom Siddens of Delphi, Indiana, Joe Williams, and Carl Williams both of Heber Springs, and one sister Julia Dane Greene of Heber Springs. Survivors include one son Bruce Gallaway and wife Tina of Heber Springs, and two daughters: Karen Gallaway Mann and husband Eddie and Carla Williams Gilpin (niece) and husband Harlin, all of Heber Springs, and one brother Danny Williams and wife Darlene of Cave Springs, Arkansas. Nina is also survived by her best friend of 50+ years, Carol Watters of Heber Springs, plus other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Family funeral Service of Heber Springs from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 27 in the Family Funeral Service Chapel at 10:00 AM with interment in Heber Springs Cemetery. Brother John Cates of Mt. Devonshire Church will officiate the service. The pallbearers will be Brian Sansoucie, Brian Harris, Ricky Williams, Casey Evans, David Lacy and Ricky Ringer. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Price and Billy Bittle.
