Michael “Mike” Thomas Dunn, 72, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on August 17, 2022 after an unexpected illness. He was born in Sandusky, Ohio and had been a Cabot resident for over 40 years. He served as a Corporal for the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Mike had a joking personality and a contagious laugh. He often said, “If I’m not picking on you then it means I don’t like you.” His life revolved around his family and friends.


He is preceded in death by his grandparents Dale and Helen Taylor; parents Audrey Adams and Warren Best; and brother Dennis Dunn; all of Sandusky, Ohio.


Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Dunn of Cabot; children Milissa (Robert) Rowe of Greenbrier, Melanie (Jay) Newby of Conway, Chris Dunn of Cabot, Audrey Dunn of Cabot; grandchildren Tanner Newby, Tucker Newby, Samantha (Rickey) Barnum, Justin Hobbs, Klint (Lillian) Pollzzie, Hunter Yates, Dusti Dunn, Daisy Dunn, Colby Sansom, Ashley Sansom; great grandson Augustus Pollzzie; sisters Sue Bottger and Diana Maschari.


Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, August 22, 2022, at the Cabot Community Event Center, in Cabot, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, August 23, 2022., At the Cabot Community Event Center. Interment will follow at Old Austin Cemetery in Ward, Arkansas.
