Mennie Long aged 65, passed away 11 June 2022 after a short battle with Liver Failure. She was born 23 March 1957 at Wiesbaden, Hessen, Germany to Rosco D. and Sigrid (Blaser) Long. After her father passed her mother married 11 Apr 2015 to Milton B. Davis, her Stepfather. She has one sibling Catherine (Long) married to Steven E. Dew, her Brother-In-Law.

Mennie Long and Sherrill L. Hayes married in Cleburne County, AR on 1 Dec 1973. They have two sons Jamison L. and Jason A. Hayes. She also has a granddaughter Jenna L. Hayes from her son Jamison. A 2nd marriage for Mennie was with David G. Arnold on 21 April 1990.

Even as a young wife and mother she still graduated on time, May 1975 at Wilburn High School. Then Mennie worked hard in Cleburne County all her working life. But she was also very generous with her spare time as a volunteer, adoptions, with cash and donations to the Cleburne County Humane Society.

She is proceeded in death by her father in Jan 2010 and 2nd husband in 2003.

A Visitation will be held Friday, 17 June 2022, at Family Funeral Service from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in her name at the Cleburne County Humane Society, 49 Shelter Lane, Heber Springs, Arkansas 72543.
