Mary Elizabeth Brewer the daughter of Howard E. Rogers and Clarabel McCall Rogers was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on May 13, 1947 and passed away at her home in Greers Ferry, Arkansas on November 1, 2021 at the age of 74 years. She graduated in 1966 from Lonoke High School. She went to cosmetology school in Little Rock. Mary married Roger Brewer on May 21, 1966. She worked for Cothren's Grocery Store during the late 1970's to early 1980's. While working at Cothern's, Mary started working for the U. S. Postal Service. She became a carrier and retired in November 2007 after 27 years of service.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Howard E. and Clarabel Rogers, in laws Howard and MaryEllen Brewer, great granddaughter Annabelle Yoder, brother and sisters-in-law Cobert and Dean Smith..
She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church of Greers Ferry. She enjoyed her grandkids, great grandkids and camping.
Mary is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roger D. Brewer, daughters, Melissa (Greg) Carr and Pamela (Randy) Linebarger. Grandkids Brooke (Landon) Cornett, Brittney (Ryan) Yoder, and Brandon Carr. Great grandsons Grayson and Carson Cornett. Sisters Gin (Stan) Brown and Clara (Gene) Davis, Nephews, Jason (Amy) Gentry, Gary (Amanda) Gentry and their families.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Greers Ferry and funeral serwvices will be at the church on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM by Bro Greg Carr with burial in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Carr, Ryan Yoder, Randy Linebarger, Jason Gentry, Gary Gentry and Landon Cornett. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Nored and Jason Lankford.
