Mary Edith “Edie” Davis-Barnett was born August 21, 1951- November 8, 2022 she was the oldest of 9 children to Buddy and Margret Davis. She became a nurse and caregiver in her professional life for more than 40 years before retiring. spending time with her loving husband Bobby before his passing March,2022. Edie loved a good book, TV series, music of all kinds and Shopping! She had the loudest and most contagious laugh, that she passed on to her daughter and at least one granddaughter. She never met a stranger and loved to dress up for social events. She was definitely the “Cool” Nanny to her grandchildren! When she moved away from them the distance was made bearable by the care packages she would put together and mail. As much as she loved her children her grandchildren were her joy.
She is preceded in death by her Husband both parents and one sister Nancy Lou. She is survived by Colleen Curtis, Shaun Davis, Hillary Feltman, Karen West, Chrissy Cerny, Barbara Burleson, Damian Davis; her daughter Denise Norwood and husband Karl son Frank Davis wife Shay. Grandchildren Dennis Suggitt Jr. (Arlo,Benjen) Alyson Suggitt-Hancock husband Jesse (Lillee,Huck) Landon Davis, Chloe Davis, Saxon Davis, Karlynn Norwood, Bonus Grands ♥️ Jaxon, Mckinleigh, Daxton, Zayden and Nash and a number of nieces and nephews. God knew we needed you to be our Momma and you will be forever missed, til we meet again
