Obituary for Mark Edward Patchell

As a result of a home accident, Mark Edward Patchell was received into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 31, 2021. He was born in Monahans, Texas on January 25, 1958, to Jack Daves Patchell and Betty Rose Stair Patchell. He is the grandson of Cecil and Bernice Patchell and Stanley and Ruby Stair. He was predeceased by his grandparents, parents, and a beloved brother, George Stanley Patchell. He is survived by one daughter, Chynna Rose Patchell, and husband, Kevin Sherrod, and one granddaughter, Olivia Sherrod; one step-daughter, Leslie Fruzia, and her husband Cris Esquivel, and their children Mia Rose and Daniel Esquivel; one surviving sister, Jacque Patchell Martin; and two nephews, Stan Abiassi (Amanda) and his son, Kristian, and Jason Patchell (Lindsey) and his sons, Jackson and Eli. He is also survived by his uncles, Bruce and Claudine Stair, and Richard Stair, all of Heber Springs; and, two aunts, Joyce McMillan of Fairfield Bay, and Lynda Stair of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Mr. Patchell was a successful entrepreneur in Houston, Texas for twenty years, owning and operating two businesses, Ameritex Termite and Pest Control and CRP, Inc. Additionally, he was an entrepreneur in mainland China for ten years. Besides creating startup businesses, he enjoyed fishing and having a good time with his friends and family members. He was a resident of Heber Springs for the past six years and a member of St Barnabas Anglican Church. The family will hold private memorial services.
