Obituary for Margie Towell (Gibbons)
Margie Evelyn Towell, 96, of Drasco, Arkansas went to be with Jesus on August 29, 2022, at her son's home in Drasco, Arkansas.
Mrs. Towell was born on August 23, 1926, in Eglantine, Arkansas to Richard and Jewell Bradford Gibbons., She was a precious mother, wife, grandmother, homemaker, and friend. She was a devoted Christian and a faithful member of Brownsville Baptist Church in Brownsville, Arkansas.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Norman Towell, her parents, Richard and Jewell Gibbons, one son, Bill Towell, and one grandson, Greg Towell.
Evelyn is survived by one son, Jerry Towell and wife Janet of Drasco, Arkansas, three grandchildren; Julie Towell of Drasco, Arkansas, Sandra King and husband Ashley of Bradford, Arkansas, and Jason Towell of Drasco, Arkansas, one great-grandson Colton Towell of Floral, Arkansas. She is also survived by other relatives, her special caretaker Susan Presley, and many friends.
A visitation will be on Friday, September 2, 2022, beginning at 12:30 PM and funeral services will be at 2:00 PM at Brownsville Baptist Church by Bro. Homer Branscum and Bro. Jeff Feil. Pallbearers will be Jason Towell, Nathen Towell, Nolan Towell, Ashley King, J. P. Key and Roby Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Ramer and Bob Bittle. Interment will be in Brownsville Cemetery.
