Obituary for Margie Hipp (Dollar)
Margie Ann Hipp the daughter of Hubert Dollar and Ruby Stevens Dollar was born in Woodrow, Arkansas on April 26, 1938 and passed away in Searcy, Arkansas on January 31, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
She was a member of Concord First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, farmer and a pastor’s wife.
She taught Sunday School for many years. She loved to cook and made the best homemade rolls in the countryside, She enjoyed visiting with family, tending the garden, taking care of flowers and her yard, reading her Bible, going to church singing and music.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Ray Hipp of Prim, her father Hubert Dollar, her mother Ruby(Stevens) Dollar of Prim and a sister Virginia Hipp of Prim. She is survived by her sister Dell Lockard of Heber Springs, children Penny Hopper and husband Mike of Prim, son Michael Hipp and wife Mickey of Heber Springs, grandchildren Rebecca Tripp and husband Arden of Heber Springs, Daniel Hipp of Heber Springs, Matthew Hipp and wife Summer of Alexander, Arkansas and Rachel Hipp of Heber Springs, great-grandchildren Avelynn, Nathaniel and Liam Tripp of Heber Springs and Blakley Hipp of Alexander, Arkansas, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Concord First Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with burial in Everett Cemetery, Prim, Arkansas by Bro. Daryl Sellers. Pallbearers will be Matthew Hipp, Daniel Hipp, Rex Cottrell, Tom Dollar, Isaac Feil and Kevin Cooper.
