Obituary for Loveta Armstrong (Bufford)
Loveta Armstrong, the daughter of Albert Bufford and Evolee Philamlee Bufford, was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on August 28, 1929, and passed away at her home in Concord, Arkansas on June 9, 2022, at the age of 92 years old.
She was a member of the Hopewell Word of Life Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and painting. Loveta was a good cook, a great homemaker, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a good Christian who loved Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sylvester Armstrong, her parents, Albert and Everly Bufford and all of her siblings.
She is survived by nine children: Marylin Dawkins, Veston Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Ronald Armstrong, Melvin Armstrong, Becky Edgar, Bill Armstrong, Sandra Dee, and Zendal Armstrong, along with fifty-four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
There will be a visitation on Friday, June 17th from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at Cornerstone Gospel Church and funeral services will be at the church at 3:00 PM by Bro. Steve Dawkins.
