Obituary for Kenneth Heffington

Kenneth Lee Heffington the son of Cecil King Heffington and Essie Lee Whittenburg Heffington was born in Koffman, Texas on February 4, 1934 and passed away at his home in Heber Springs on February ;4, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
Kenneth and Maryland moved to Heber Springs where they attended the West Pangburn Community Church where Kenneth was an elder, deacon and Sunday school teacher. Kenneth was the owner of West Memphis Bumper and two other shops in West Memphis .Kenneth and Maryland married in West Memphis 38 years ago. Kenneth served in the United States Marines and was a Marine Sergent spotter while he served in active duty.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Essie Heffington, brothers Alfred and Kenneth and sisters Betty, Ruth, Barbara, and Doris. grandchildren Christopher Thompson and Adrian Thompson. Survivors are his wife Maryland Williams Heffington, brother Dan Heffington, children Lisa James and husband Darrel, Vickie Shamlin, Allen Haley and Tammy Prince, grandchildren Darrel James III, Jacob James, Mason Haley, Kaitlyn Haley, Jeffrey Smith, Austin Smith and wife Kristen and Landon Engle, great grandchildren Anthony James, Archer James, Marshall McLemore, Amanda McLemore, Lacey McLemore, Laynie Thompson, Drew Thompson Liam Haley and Everleigh Smith and a host of family and friends. Kenneth never said a negative thought, he was always positive and everyone he met he talked about. He lived and had a good life living for God and letting him guide his path, loving everyone as God loves us.
