Obituary for Karen Miller (Nelson)
Karen Lee Miller, the daughter of David Wayne Nelson and Carmalita Irene Fish Nelson, was born in Hunnington Park, California on January 26, 1951, and passed away in Clarksville, Arkansas on February 6, 2023, at the age of 72 years.
She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Union Church. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She enjoyed reading, crafts, camping and spending time on the river.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, David and Carmalita Nelson, her husband, Charlie Miller, her brother Joel Nelson, and several grandchildren. Survivors are her son Danny Miller and wife Crystal, daughter, Shannon Taylor and husband Rodney, daughter, Christie Maples and husband Todd, daughter, Amy Hipp, son, Josh Miller and wife Katie, sister, Lori Awbrey and husband Craig, brother, Michael Nelson, sister-in-law Jean Gober and husband Norman, and sister-in-law Sharon Foster, 22 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Family Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, and funeral services will be on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 2:00 PM in Family Funeral Service Chapel by Pastor Odell Altom, with burial in Miller Cemetery, Drasco, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Dakota McCranie, Keaton Hipp, Kyler Hipp, Zachary Maples, Chayton Maples, Brandon Vandon, Honorary Pallbearers, Danny Miller, Josh Miller, Rodney Taylor and Jerry Webb.
