Obituary for Joyce Engle (Hutchison)
Joyce Ann Engle, 81, of Heber Springs, AR, went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2023. She was born on July 14, 1941, in Grays Ridge, Missouri, to Roy Hutchison and Florence (Qualls) Hutchison.
Joyce was a Christian and served the Lord by the way she lived her life. She was a strong-willed woman with a heart of gold. Joyce wanted everyone to feel loved and welcome in her home. She valued hard work and loved to stay busy. Joyce enjoyed cooking for family get-togethers and spending time with her grandkids at Sandy Beach. She looked forward to yard sales in the summer and going on trips with the girls. We will dearly miss the time she spent making precious memories with every one of us.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Florence Hutchison; her husband, Robert Engle, two brothers, Jim Hutchison and Bob Hutchison; and a sister Carolyne Worch.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family, son, Robert Engle; two daughters, Stephanie Engle and Debbi Ward; and one sister, Rose Riley. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Roxanne Mayer, Sammi Jo Begley, Sean Engle, Davian Engle, Shira Thornton, and Emily Stahl; eight great-grandchildren, Alexis Baker, Olivia Mayer, Scott Liles, Stormy Tipton, Baylee Williams, Gale Stahl, Zoey Stahl, and Finn Stahl; one great-great-grandchild, Eleanor Hazel Baker; and many more relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Family Funeral Service from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the funeral service held at Family Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens in Heber Springs, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Sean Engle, Davian Engle, Adrian Evans, Matt Riley, Rusty Holcomb, and Terell Thornton.
