Our loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Friend, John P. Power, a.k.a. Ponytail, Bearcat, Redbeard, born September 15, 1953, left this world for the next one on January 6, 2022. John was one of the lucky ones who loved his work. He had been a truck driver for over 40 years with no chargeable accidents and was married to Renee Power for 43 happy, romantic years. Along with his caring wife, he left behind two beautiful daughters and their partners, Jennifer Power and Chuck Geisler of Greers Ferry, and Jacki Power and David Wyant of Springdale, as well as one precious red-headed grandson, John Pete Geisler, a soon-to-be second grandbaby, a brother Rick Power, niece Leigh Power, great nephew Braden, favorite sister-in-law Marilyn Mann, and many other family, friends, and fellow truckers who will carry on his memory and love for many miles to come. A casual celebration will take place at his favorite fishing hole, Bondair in Higden, Sunday, September 18 at 6:30PM.
