Obituary for Glenn Jones

Glenn Dale Jones, the son of Arvel Jones and Blanche Stark Jones was born in Heber Springs, Arkansas on January 28, 1935, and passed away in Heber Springs, Arkansas on January 21, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
Dale was one of the original founders of the Southside Baptist Church in Heber Springs, he attended the Mountain Top Cowboy Church. He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and the National Guard serving in the 172 Engineering Field Maintenance Company for a total of 27 years of service. He was employed by Cleburne County Motors as an auto technician and worked there for 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arvel and Blanche Jones and a grandson Sky Hipp. Survivors are his wife Virginia E. Hooten Jones, and they were married for 65 years. two sons; Ricky Jones and Kevin Jones and three sisters. Also survived by three grandchildren; Khara Henderson, Paige Hipp, and Madison Jones, three great-grandchildren; Kalie Alane Henderson, Lakyn Hipp, Willow Hipp, and one great-great-grandchild, Kye Henderson, other relatives, and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery at 2:00 PM by Rev. Benny Foster. Military Honors services will be by American Legion Post 64 of Heber Springs.
