Obituary for Eva Tucker (McLaughlin)

Eva Doris Tucker, 83, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 10. She was born in Ramer, TN, the third of nine children, to Tilmon and Annie Rea McLaughlin. She spent her childhood growing up in Lepanto, AR. She married Charles Edward Tucker in 1955 at the age of 17. They relocated to St. Louis, Missouri, where they raised a family together, worked, and lived most of their adult lives. They retired to Heber Springs, Arkansas and became members of the First United Methodist Church. Eva and Charles were married for 65 1/2 years at the time of her death.

She is survived by: Charles Tucker, husband Mary Blackburn, daughter, and husband Stephen Blackburn, Charles Russel Tucker, son, Bradley Meserole, grandson, and wife Lea Meserole
Rachel Thorpe, daughter, and husband Scott Thorpe, Eli Empty, Ella Thorpe, and William Thorpe, great grandchildren, Joanne Joiner, Lois Bourland, Linda Eddings, Jerry McLaughlin, and Michael McLaughlin, siblings, Many other nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

She was predeceased by: Tilmon McLaughlin, father, Annie Rea McLaughlin, mother
Wayne McLaughlin and Jimmy McLaughin, brothers, Becky Logan, sister.
