Obituary for Euwin "BW" McCarty
Euwin Bailey William (BW) McCarty 83 of Drasco, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 1, 2022.
He was born in Drasco, Arkansas on February 14, 1939 and was the son of Troy and Bessie DeFoor McCarty. He was retired from McCarty Construction. He served in the United States Army National Guard. Throughout his life he was also a cattle rancher and loved to garden and fish. He loved to spend free time at the creek.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marlene Hipp McCarty, two sons David (Tammy) McCarty of Drasco, Arkansas and Lynn (Lana) McCarty of Batesville, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Dayton (Lauren) McCarty of Drasco, Arkansas, Savannah (Ryan) Paul of Batesville, Arkansas, Landon (Brooke) Cornett of Concord, Arkansas and Kelsey Freeman of Drasco, Arkansas and 6 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Family Funeral Service from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in Heber Springs, Arkansas and funeral services will be on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Macedonia Church in Drasco, Arkansas with burial to follow at Friendship Cemetery, Five Mile Road in Drasco, Arkansas by Bro. Samuel Wildmon and Bro. Glen Swafford, with full military honors by Stone County Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Dayton McCarty, Jimmy Cornett, Mark Cornett, Doug Lemieux, Zack Cothren and Kevin Stair.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chester Cornett, Rick Cothren and Louie Wells.
