Obituary for Edith White (Stacks)
Edith Ernestine White the daughter of Robert Homer Stacks and Ann Strickland Stacks was born in Springfield, Arkansas on July 5, 1929 and passed away in Heber Springs, Arkansas on August 1, 2021 at the age of 92 years.
She worked as a hospital employee and was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Heber Springs. She was on the prayer chain at her church and very involved in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ann Stacks, her husband James Albert White, two brothers Gerald Stacks and Forrest Stacks, two sisters Freeda Carter and Earlene Epperson, two daughters Marilyn Linn and Patricia Mullen and a great granddaughter Ricki White. Survivors are three daughters Ginger Fitzsimmons and husband Gaylen of Pangburn, Kelly Hayes and husband Kelly Don of Heber Springs and Bailey Newell and husband James. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren Janice, Jaymie, Jennifer, Jason, Jarrod, Melissa, Melanie, Daniel, Landsey, Holley and Kristen and 20 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Family Funeral Service and funeral services will be at the First Assembly of God Church in Heber Springs on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM with burial in the Kilgore Cemetery in Birdtown, Arkansas by Bro. Jo Jo Riggs.
