Donna Mae Stair the daughter of Bert Defoor and Lois Bufford Defoor was born in Ben, Arkansas on August 28, 1932 and passed away in Clinton, Arkansas on August 25, 2023 at the age of 90 years.
She was a homemaker and a resident of Clinton, Arkansas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She loved fishing and loved to cook, embroidering, and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Lois Defoor, her husband Richard Stair, son Ivan Stair, daughters Joycelyn Hobgood and Brenda Yarbrough, seven brothers and sisters. Survivors are her daughter Sonja Moore and husband Chip of Clinton, Arkansas, son Wendell Stair and wife Linda of Texas, six grandchildren Danny Miller, Christie Maples, Shane Vernon, Clint Vernon, Shay Hughes and Kristen Stair, one sister Loretta Erwin of Kansas, two brothers, Eddie Defoor of Pangburn and Roy Lee Defoor of Conway, also 28 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
A visitation will be on Monday, August 28, 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM at Family Funeral Service in Heber Springs and the funeral will be at 10:00 AM by Rev. Wesley Norris with burial in Friendship Cemetery near Ben, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Randy Defoor, Danny Miller, Shane Vernon, Dakota McCraie, Asher McCullum and Seth Vernon
