Obituary for Donald Gallaway

Donald G. Gallaway the son of Christopher Columbus (Lum) Gallaway and Uva Pearl Tyler Gallaway was born in Woodrow, Arkansas on August 25, 1933 and Passed away in Batesville, Arkansas on February 7, 2022 at the age of 88 years.
He was a member of Woodrow Baptist Church in Woodrow, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, singing gospel songs and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lum and Pearl Gallaway, 4 brothers:Clifton Galloway, Vane Gallaway, Joe Gallaway and Warren Gallaway and 4 sisters: Rene Everett, Effie Stubbs, Jessie Stubbs and Mable Harris, and his father and mother in law Jeff and Geneva Dollar Carlton. Survivors are his wife Marshlene Carlton Gallaway of Prim, son Faron Gallaway and wife Shelley of Quitman, daughters Donna Carr and husband Randy of Greers Ferry and Reba Wood and husband David of Mayflower, 11 grandchildren: and 16 great grandchildren: Ashley Wilson and husband Adam of Wooster and girls Hadley Lybarger, Kinley and Everly Wilson, Whitney Stevens and husband Jody of Prim and kids Preslee, Madison, Kallie and Sawyer, Brooke Lasley and husband Jacob of Bee Branch and son Jepp, Andy Gallaway and wife Megan of Romance and sons Hudson and Griffin, Christopher Brock of Greers Ferry and son Paxton, Emilee Estridge and Trey of Vilonia and son Cade, Chase Gallaway of Quitman, Devin Carr and wife Casey of Greers Ferry and sons Brantley and Brody, Cory Carr and wife Katie of Barney and son Lane, Kari Murphree and husband Ernie of Greers Ferry and son Austin, Blake Verser and wife Shakonna of Heber Springs and sons Caeden and Kielan, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be held at Woodrow Baptist Church in Woodrow, Arkansas on February 10, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM and funeral services will be in the church at 2:00 PM by Bro Ron Bray and Eddie Hipp, with buriall in Everett Cemetery in Prim, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Andy Gallaway, Chase Gallaway, Christopher Brock, Cory Carr, Shawn Harris and Gary Bud Gallaway, Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Wilson, Jacob Lasley, Jody Stevens, Devin Carr and Blake Verser.
