Obituary for Della Grubbs (Munn)
Della Rebecca Grubbs the daughter of Adam J. Munn and Mary Estelle Coward Munn was born in Effingham, South Carolina on February 26, 1935 and passed away at her home in Quitman, Arkansas on May 12, 2022 at the age of 87 years.
She attended the Miller Point Church and enjoyed cooking , going on car rides, watching scenery, nature and watching birds and animals. She attended Wesleyan College in North Carolina, taught school. she was an avid reader and an excellant Sunday School teacher and most importantly a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Mary Munn, her husband of 42 years. Marion Edward Grubbs, eight brothers and two sisters and her son Eddie Grubbs. Survivors are her four children Joyce Munn and husband Doug, Norma Jean Sawrie and husband Steve, Chris Grubbs and wife Shawnette and Eugene Grubbs, daughter-in-law Rhonda Grubbs and sister-in-law Wanda Byrd. Grandchildren Shanna and Ryan Wyatt, Emily Grubbs, Tori and Chris Davidson, Christopher and Tori Grubbs, Destiny Grubbs, Sheldon and Frances Sawrie, Caleb and Chasity Sawrie, Becky Munn, Sarah and Brad Richardson and Amie Munn, Great Grandchildren Trey and Micheal Wyatt, Sabrina Davidson, Jayden Davidson, Seth Sawrie, Emma Sawrie, Serina Smith, Kadence Smith, Alexis Richardson and DellaAnn Grubbs, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A visitation will be on Monday, May 16, 2022 starting at 2:00 PM at Wesley Chapel Church and funeral services will be at 3:00 at the church with burial in Wesley Chapel Cemetery by Rev. Steve Sawrie. Pallbearers will be Brad Richardson, Caleb Sawrie, Sheldon Sawrie, Christopher Grubbs, Chris Davidson and Michael Wyatt.
